Local PNG inspector
Check if your PNG is actually transparent.
Inspect true pixel transparency, original dimensions and file size in your browser before a background box reaches your product mockup.

The file is decoded and sampled in your browser. It is never sent to KreavoPod.

What PNG transparency means for a print-on-demand file
A transparent-looking preview is not proof that the file contains an alpha channel. This checker reads the pixels so you can catch a solid white box, soft halo, or missing clear border before upload.
Fully opaque
The file contains no transparent pixels. A white or colored background will print unless you remove it first.
Partly transparent
Soft edges, shadows, antialiasing, or a halo use partial alpha. Inspect these pixels on both light and dark backgrounds.
Fully transparent pixels
The file has genuinely clear areas. Still confirm that enclosed spaces and the outside border are clean.
Why it helps
Check the production details before they become listing problems.
Reads the alpha channel instead of guessing from a filename, checkerboard preview or white-looking background.
Distinguishes partly transparent pixels from fully clear pixels to reveal soft edges and real empty space.
Shows original width, height and file size alongside a local preview on a checkerboard background.
Keeps the artwork on your device. This free checker does not upload the selected file to a server.

How to use this free tool
- 1
Select a PNG file up to 25 MB. The browser decodes a local copy without uploading it.
- 2
Read the status, dimensions and estimated transparent-pixel percentages in the report.
- 3
If no transparency is detected, remove the background in your editor or KreavoPod, then export and check again.

Useful answers
Frequently asked questions
Why does my PNG still have a white background?
PNG is a file format, not a guarantee of transparency. A PNG can contain an opaque white layer. The checker reads its alpha values to tell the difference.
Does the checker upload or store my design?
No. The selected file is decoded in the browser and represented with a temporary local URL that disappears when the page is closed or another file is selected.
Are the pixel percentages exact?
They are exact for smaller images analyzed at full size. Large images are proportionally sampled to protect browser memory, so their percentages are close estimates. Original dimensions remain exact.
